Image:GT40.jpg

Hello. Thanks for uploading image:GT40.jpg and for giving it a copyright tag. However, you also need to add source info to the image description page, most importantly who took the photograph (and therefore who owns the copyright), and maybe where and when it was taken. This is so we can be sure that the image is usable under the specified license, in this case the GFDL. Thanks, SamH 12:12, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC).

Thanks for adding that info, but can I just confirm that you are Sean O'Flaherty? Thanks again, SamH|Talk 11:02, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC).

Image deletion warning The image Image:2004-Bremerhaven U-Boot-Museum-Sicherlich.jpg has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it will be deleted. If you have any information on the source or licensing of this image, please go there to provide the necessary information.

Special thanks

For Wikifying the Charles Taze Russell article that was completely void of links, you have been awarded the Workingman's Barnstar. Robert McClenon 00:19, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Michael J. Bernard

Thanks for your contribution to the Michael J. Bernard article. If you have any references, you should cite them at the bottom of the article as soon as possible; otherwise the article might be nominated for deletion in accordance with the guidelines at Wikipedia:Verifiability. Thanks. --TantalumTelluride 03:47, 5 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Thanks, mate, for wikifying my recent catastrophical double-article... I swear I searched for it, but I guess I didn't look hard enough... all fixed up now, I think. Cheers. --Pastor of Muppets 02:51, 29 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Wow! That was fast!

I entered the article "Future of an Illusion" just a few minutes ago, and almost instantaneously, you added the wikify notice. How'd you do it so fast? And, based on my article, what needs changing? Also, what do I need to do to be an administrator? Are you an administrator?--Screwball23 talk 03:13, 29 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Solar disinfection

You suggest wikifying Solar disinfection... I had considered just making it a redirect to [[Solar water disinfection, and that may be the better option. But I thought it could conceivably refer to something else, so I made that short, explanatory page. What do you suggest? --Singkong2005 10:10, 18 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Scouting

Why did you remove the link to the Boer War? Just interested. Also maybe a link should be added for Afrikaner in that para. Cheers, Bduke 00:09, 16 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

POV check tag at Shuttleworth Foundation

I removed a POV check tag that you added to Shuttleworth Foundation because there was no stated justification. What was it that you felt was POV? Theshibboleth 18:13, 18 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good job on noticing that copyright violation. Could you put in the edit summary a little note? Thanks! --Masssiveego 01:10, 20 March 2006 (UTC) on RC patrol.Reply

Hey there. I understand why you changed the prod to speedy, but wouldn't it have been better to have simply added db-bio in addition to prod, as recommended at WP:PROD? The article is actually somewhat asserting her notability thru her GPA or whatever. If the speedy fails on that or another basis, readding the prod template resets the countdown. Just something to keep in mind--no need to delete a prod tag just to add a speedy tag. NickelShoe (Talk) 18:20, 22 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Recent comment at WP:AFD/Kristi Yamaoka (second nomination)

Hi, you made a comment on the Kristi Yamaoka AFD "Ms. Yamaoka is probably closer to a person of the mouth on top of that." Did you meant to say "person of the month"? --Durin 21:21, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Remeber the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Charlie Sheen and Alex Jones interviews? It reached nothing even remotly resembling consensus, but it was deleted anyway? Please join the debate regarding undeleting it. I view this as nothing more as the majority imposing their will on the minority, in a blatant violation of the spirit of wikipedia --Striver 22:06, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging Image:CA-92.jpg

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:CA-92.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If you created it yourself you could replace the {{PD}} tag with {{PD-self}}.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. -- Paddu 20:18, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
