Goin' Down was the first single from Melanie C's debut solo album, Northern_Star. It was released on September 27 1999 and became Chisholm's second Top 5 single (UK #4). The music video was banned in some TV stations due to offensive language ("bitch", "whore"). It sold 90,000 copies in the UK alone, being the 179th best seller of 1999.
