Bahar Soomekh (30 March 1975) is a Jewish-Persian-American actress. She has appeared in several films, including Academy Award-winning Crash as Dorri, and has guest starred on several television shows, including two different roles on JAG. The name Bahar means spring - the season - in persian.
Biography
Soomekh was born in Tehran, but moved with her parents and sister to Los Angeles at the age of four, where she attended Sinai Akiba Academy and Beverley Hills High School before taking environmental studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She played the violin in her High school orchestra
