Image patrol or IP patrol refers to the act of checking graphic images File links to ensure the image hasn't been used in conjuction with vandalism or personl attacks against other users.
This type of patrol is entirely voluntary and carries no obligation. At its heart, it is really just a way to find vandalism that was not spotted in the past through recent changes patrollers.
