Talk:Golden Earring
I have tagged this article {{npov}}, because it repeatedly uses words and phrases which are not neutral. "rock musicians as experienced and skilled as Golden earring have become extremely rare", "A Golden Earring concert is always an intense experience", "Interesting musical patterns are born", etc. The article needs a complete rewrite. -- SoothingR(pour) 18:06, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- A complete rewrite is an understatement. Jim62sch 11:30, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
The Who
There is a story that the Who asked a band member to join. Do not add this information to the article unless you provide a reliable, verifiable source. KillerChihuahua?!? 10:36, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Jaap Eggermont?
Another article that links here says that Jaap Eggermont was a former member, but this article doesn't mention him. Is it true, or is there another connection, or is it bogus? Graham 04:23, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- He was a manager and was second drummer on an album or two; which articles states he was a member? KillerChihuahua?!? 16:39, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Confirmed. Jaap Eggermont was the drummer in their earlier years. He appears on their album Winter Harvest, which I have just added. - Karin Spaink 22:19, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Solo projects
Information on solo projects is lacking. George Kooymans released a solo-record called "Jojo" in the Superstarshine series (Vol. 23), released by Polydor; no year on either sleeve or record. Barry Hay released and produced "Only Parrots, Frogs and Angels", also on Polydor, also no year on sleeve or record. - Karin Spaink 22:34, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
