Vundo is a trojan dropper application that downloads and displays pop-up advertisements that promote questionable computer-enhancement programs, especially a rogue program called WinFixer. Adware/Trojan/Vundo may degrade system performance, run unauthorized processes and download files from the Internet without user's consent. The Vundo Trojan installs a dll component that seems to harvest information from the infected computer, then uploads it to various servers.
