Overview
Royds School, founded in 1956, is a school serving 1300 pupils in Leeds. The school was originally a Secondary Modern and is now a non-selective comprehensive serving Rothwell, South Leeds, and the surrounding areas. The school since 2000 has provided post 16 education with its sister school Rodillian. The school gained specialist language college status in 2003.
