Kenny Garrett

Kenny Garrett is a jazz saxophonist. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1960. His father was a tenor saxophonist. Kenny played with Miles Davis and Art Blakey before going out on his own. He recorded Pursuance: The Music of John Coltrane with Pat Metheny on guitar. He and his quartet recently performed in the 2006 Montreal International Jazz Festival.
