<Article name should probably changed to just "Compact Modular Architecture". Both Volvo, Geely and possible Geely sub-brands will use that designation. Also Volvo is only playing a partial role in the development, so it's more CMA than it is Volvo CMA>

The Compact Modular Architecture-platform is an upcoming global mid-size unibody automobile platform jointly developed by Volvo and Geely under their CEVT AB[11][12] (China Euro Vehicle Technology) R&D banner.[13] Development began in 2013 with the goal of producing a highly flexible vehicle platform.[14][15] Only the distance between the centre of the front wheels and the pedal box is fixed,[8] everything else can be configured to suit the intended vehicle design.[2]
