Fans of the series have seen cast members shooting in various states in America but the Jackass cast refuse to say where they are filming as it may result in too many fans interfering with the filming process. They have also filmed in India, Australia and Moscow, Russia. A few stunt/skit insights were leaked prior to the movies release by Steve-O and Bam Margera via Radio Bam and Loveline.
On June 15, Yahoo! released the first official teaser for the movie here. Some of the stunts seemed to be involved in the trailer include a "rocket bike" of sorts, Knoxville getting rammed by a yak (previously thought to be a bull but confirmed by Knoxville to be a yak in a recent issue of the British film magazine Empire) blindfolded.
The official music single for the movie is "The Joker & The Thief" from Wolfmother's self titled debut album. A music video was shot in Australia for the band and for the promotion of the movie. Also on the movie soundtrack is the song, "Karazy", performed by Jackass star, Chris Pontius and his band.
Plot
Just as the first TV series and first movie, Jackass: Number Two essentially has no plot, but is rather a collection of stunts and pranks. The film opens with the entire cast being chased by a stampede of bulls. The first skit features Chris Pontius and his penis in a sock puppet tempting a snake until he is bitten. Other skits include:
- While staying at a hotel, many cast members are tricked into thinking that hotel staff have left a fan letter on the wall in their hallway. What they don't know is that behind the card is a hole in the wall, and a spring-propelled punching bag controlled by Johnny Knoxville. As they continue reading, they are eventually struck in the face.
- One of the cast members is dressed up as a seemingly normal elderly woman, and goes around town talking to salesmen. After the two parties have conversed, the old lady's shirt drops, revealing fake breasts.
- Man-fishing. Steve-O attaches a hook to his cheek and jumps out into the sea, where sharks will consider him bait.
- Perhaps the most contreversial skit in the movie features Chris Pontius drinking a horse's ejaculation. Despite being rated "R," the act of him drinking it is still censored.
- The Gauntlet. Various cast members and special guest star Tony Hawk attempt to ride through a skatepark area while heavy bags are swinging from the ceiling.
- Steve-O has blood extracted from his eye from a leech.
- Knoxville is shot over a lake area while hanging onto a large rocket.
- The terrorist. Ehren McGhehey is dressed up as a terrorist, including the beard being completely made up of the casts' pubic hairs (much to his dismay). McGhehey gets into a cab and instructs the driver to drive to the airport, while making many statements suggesting that he is going to commit an act of terrorism on a plane. What he doesn't know is that the cab driver has been staged by the cast. He then pulls over, beats McGhehey and pulls out a gun. After a long confrontation, he is forced into the cab's trunk as the driver pretends to drive off.
