Indian elephant

The Indian Elephant Elephas maximus indicus is a subspecies of the Asian Elephant primarily found in India. The subspecies can also be found in relatively small numbers in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Laos, mainland of Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam.
