This jury has three members and awards a prize dedicated to the former long-standing director of the Panorama, Manfred Salzgeber. The prize goes to an innovative feature film from the Official Program that has a distributor in no more than one European country. The prize is named after the long-time director of the Panorama and co-organiser of the festival, Manfred Salzgeber. The jury has three members and awards a prize to an innovative feature film in the official programme. The winning film can not be currently distributed in more than one European country. The prize is awarded to an innovative European feature film screened in the Competition or the Panorama which has a distributor in no more than one European country. Tra le personalità che hanno fatto parte della giuria ci sono il regista, scrittore e artista visuale israeliano Udi Aloni, il giapponese Kanako Hayashi, direttore del Tokyo Filmex, l'italiano Giampolo Marzi, direttore artistico del Festival MIX Milano, Mirsad Purivatra, direttore del Sarajevo Film Festival, Tan Bee Thiam, fondatore dell'Archivio Cinematografico Asiatico di Singapore e Susanne Pfeffer, curatrice del KW Istituto d'Arte Contemporanea di Berlino.
