Wikipedia talk:Tools/Optimum tool set
Suggestions
I saw you asked for this interesting page to be proofread on the help desk, so:
- In the spellchecking section, there is a live spellchecker; (it spellchecks the recent changes) User:Lupin/Anti-vandal tool (which you have further down the page)
- You should link the individual entries in the section "Searching Wikipedia from the internet"
- I think the signatures section should be expanded to be more understandable (like tell them to tick raw signature and link to WP:SIG)
I understand this page is still under construction but it already looks really helpful, not just for new users. Good job. James086Talk | Contribs 13:16, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- You may want to consider whether the 'scripts' link should go to Wikipedia:Scripts or Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts (the link you have currently is mostly about IRC scripts; it's quite possible that it's user scripts that you meant). --ais523 13:28, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- I saw this page linked on the help desk. I've proofed it (a couple of spelling errors and a bit of punctuation) as requested. I understand it's not finished yet; please leave a note on my talk page if you'd like me to proof it again when you're done. It's very understandable, and looks as if it's going to be really helpful - good job! Squeezeweasel 15:02, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
