Kevin Dobson

Kevin Dobson is a U.S. actor, primarily on soap operas and television.

He was born on March 18, 1943 and raised in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York City.

He is best known for his roles as Telly Savalas's young trusted partner, Sgt. Bobby Crocker in the 1970s television series Kojak, and for playing Michele Lee's second husband, M. Patrick "Mack" McKenzie, on Knots Landing (from 1982 until the show ended in 1993).

Dobson served twice as Chairman of the National Salute To Hospitalized Veterans, having been a soldier in Vietnam himself. He has been widely acclaimed by Veterans organizations for his service to help hospitalized veterans, receiving the Silver Helmet Peace Award and the American Legion Award.
