Siobhan Dillon born in Lichfield, Staffordshire, England is 21 years old and was the second runner up in How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?. She lives in London and was doing a BA hons in Product Design and Development for the Fashion Industry, Accessories pathway at Cordwainers College which is part of University of The Arts.

Despite being one of the favourites during the first round of auditions, Dillon initially did not make the final ten after an illness had badly affected her voice during the final stages.

After finalist Emilie Alford removed herself from the competition, Dillon, being the last person eliminated during the selection process, returned to the show as the "Second Chance Maria".

To check all of the potential Marias' fitness, which would indicate their stamina for every show, David Ian took the girls to an assault course. Dillon ran through the course fastest, in under two minutes.

During the semi-final week the girls went to Wales to build up their confidence and acting skills with West End's leading man John Barrowman.

In the last week the three finalists were taken to Austria to see some of the sights which were in the film. Which included the famous steps and the Abbey. Dillon said she was inspired by the Abbey and she knew deeper down Maria was the part for her.

Siobhan has been signed up by the record company POLYDOR, and she is currently in the USA with top songwriters recording an album which is set to be released in february. It will consist of a maximum of 2 covers, one of which WILL be Eva Cassidy's "Songbird"
