Blackpink
Le Blackpink (블랙핑크?, Beullaek PingkeuLR; spesso stilizzato BLACKPINK o BLΛƆKPIИK) sono una band k-pop sudcoreana, formatasi a Seul nel 2016. Il gruppo è composto da quattro membri: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé e Lisa.

Biografia
Pubblicizzato già dal 2012[1][2], il gruppo viene presentato ufficialmente dalla YG Entertainment il 29 giugno 2016[3][4] ed è il primo gruppo femminile a debuttare sotto l'etichetta discografica in sette anni, dopo le 2NE1[5].
2016: Debutto con "Square One" & "Square Two"
Esordiscono l'8 agosto 2016 con l'album singolo Square One[5], contenente due title track, "Whistle" e "Boombayah"[6]. Esse raggiungono la prima e la seconda posizione nella classifica World Digital Songs Charts di Billboard, rendendole il gruppo più veloce a raggiungere tale posizione, e le terze artiste coreane a mantenere le prime due posizioni dopo Psy ed i Big Bang[7]. "Whistle" raggiunge la prima posizione in tre classifiche (digitale, download e streaming) della Gaon Chart nell'agosto 2016[8][9][10], e il primo posto nelle classifiche settimanale, di popolarità, dei video musicali e K-pop del sito cinese di streaming QQ Music[11]. La loro prima esibizione ufficiale viene trasmessa il 14 agosto 2016 da Inkigayo[12], e diventano il gruppo femminile a vincere il premio di un programma musicale nel minor tempo (quattordici giorni dal debutto). Concludono la promozione di Square One l'11 settembre 2016 con un'altra vittoria ad Inkigayo.
Le Blackpink pubblicano, il 1º novembre 2016, il secondo album singolo Square Two, trainato dai due singoli "Playing With Fire" e "Stay", che eseguono per la prima volta a Inkigayo il 6 novembre[13]. "Playing With Fire" è il loro secondo singolo a raggiungere la prima posizione nella World Digital Songs Charts[14]. L'anno si conclude con diversi premi come artiste emergenti a Asian Artist Awards[15], Melon Music Awards[16], Golden Disk Awards[17], Seoul Music Awards[18] e Gaon Chart Music Awards[19]. Inoltre, Billboard le nomina tra i nuovi migliori gruppi K-pop del 2016[20].
2017: As If It’s Your Last & debutto giapponese
Il 22 giugno 2017, le Blackpink pubblicano un nuovo singolo digitale, As If It's Your Last, che esordisce primo nella World Digital Song quello stesso giorno[21]. Il 30 agosto debuttano in Giappone con l'EP Blackpink[22][23].
2018: "Square Up"
Il 15 giugno 2018 pubblicano il loro primo EP Square Up trainato dalla title track "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du"[24].
