Melyssa Savannah Ford (born on November 7, 1980 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian model and actress. She attended York University and studied in the field of forensic psychology. Melyssa's father is Afro-Caribbean & her mother is Russian and Norwegian.
Music director Little X discovered Melyssa at a Toronto nightclub and helped her launch her modeling career. She has been in several music videos, magazines such as XXL and King and had several television and film appearances. In March 2004, she hosted BET's How I'm Livin' series, and is currently the host of BET's lifestyle show entitled BET Style. That same year, she was featured in Maxim magazine and is currently in their online Girls of Maxim gallery.
She has also written a monthly advice column for Smooth magazine and has a successful line of calendars and DVDs.
