St Francis of Assisi's is located at 58 Shek Kip Mei Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon
Based on the purpose and direction of the Catholic Church, "SFA" is committed to develop and promote love, care and concern for the society, to provide an all rounded education, with a passion for virtue, knowledge, health, community spirit and aesthetics. The school strives to create the ideal environment for all students to develop their full potentials, guide them in the pursuit of the true value and beauty of their lives.
The school is a co-educational primary school, admitting children from Pre Primary 1 (year before Primary 1 or "P 1") at age around 5 years old, to Priarmy 6.
The school share the same site and building as another school, St Francis of Assisi's Caritas Primary School. The name is derived from the church of St Francis of Assisi which is part of the school site. St Francis of Assisi's English Primiary school have lessons in the morning, while St Francis of Assisi's Caritas have lessons in the afternoon. The Caritas schools also concentrate more on Chinese teaching.
The school is located in the midst of the first council house estate development in Hong Kong in the Shek Kip Mei area.
