Translations of one page
Hi, I would like to have the save an amazon rainforest page translated into different languages... i tried to manually do that... but it now says it is not in english and will be deleted?!

- Basically you can only have english articles on english wikipedia. There are loads of different wikipedias in different languages, so if you want to add the page in different languages, it has to be on the wikipedia for that particular language. To be honest, it would be far easier just to leave it in english, unless you can be bothered to register with every single language wikipedia that you want to put it on. However if you do want to put it on I'd suggest looking at this as it has a lot of the most comon language wikipedias on RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or lets have banter 10:59, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi Ryan. I see you've tagged Risparmi l'organizzazione del Amazon Rainforest as {{db-notenglish}}, which puts it in category WP:CSD#A2. Since that category is for "Foreign language articles that exist on another Wikimedia project" could you let me know which other project it exists on? I'd assumed it would be the it Wikipedia but l'organizzazione del Amazon Rainforest comes back as "no such page". If your intention was just to tag it as "delete this as it's not in English" please note that WP:CSD says: "If the article in question does not exist on another project, the template {{notenglish}} should be used instead." The instructions in the notenglish tag request that the page be added to WP:PNT for translators to take alook at it. Regards, Tonywalton | Talk 14:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
