- 10:4610:46, 2 December 2024 diff hist −958 Needle spiking Delete pointless Social Media section that effectively contains zero information. If individuals had written viral stories about getting spiked, that might be worth mentioning, but we don't say that; the claim is effectively just that the issue has been mentioned a non-zero number of times on social media, which is *obviously* true and of absolutely no significance. (The claim deleted here would be satisfied by e.g. The Guardian's twitter account posting a link to one of their spiking articles.)
- 10:3010:30, 2 December 2024 diff hist −224 Needle spiking Replace stat from The Guardian on number of reported cases with stat from the Home Affairs Committee inquiry, which 1. covers a broader time period (and so is more useful in a general article about the topic) and 2. is probably a more reliable source here & more likely to be accurate. Note the stats on reports given in the inquiry vs the Guardian article are not even remotely consistent, so one must be utterly, wildly wrong. I am assuming the Guardian is the one that's wrong.
- 10:2210:22, 2 December 2024 diff hist +34 Needle spiking Note time period for 1 in 692 stat in intro; IMO this was misleading before. By the time the 1 in 692 stat was published, there were over 1000 reported incidents.

- 10:0010:00, 29 October 2024 diff hist −890 Evil eye Undid revision 1253693607 by DannBin (talk) - Removing "the compliment" made existing text ungrammatical. "أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق", has many hits on Google unrelated to evil eye; probably shouldn't represent as ritual *specifically* to ward off eye. (I make no judgment, as not qualified to, on reliability of source or whether we should be scoping this to a particular sect but maybe issue there too) Tag: Undo

- 13:1213:12, 24 October 2024 diff hist −219 Evil eye Remove claim that belief has existed since prehistory. Citation doesn't support this & offers weak evidence to the contrary (dating the first known amulets to protect against the eye to 3300BC in Syria, which AIUI is after the end of prehistory). Furthermore, the edit by User:Dan Palraz that first added the claim, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Evil_eye&diff=prev&oldid=1182273749, was pretty outrageous, framing the curse as real and more ancient than prehistory, with no source.

(Our software wasn't available in the plain English sense of third parties being able to download & run it; we just let people use the platform, which was web-based), & the cited source has been taken down (probably cos it was wrong) and is not archived. The press release with a similar title is still online but doesn't substantiate the article's version of the claim in the article. COI disclosure: I worked for 'em
