Michael Oluwadurotimi Obafemi (Dublino, 6 luglio 2000) è un calciatore irlandese di origini nigeriane, attaccante del Southampton e della nazionale irlandese.

Biografia
Nato a Dublino da genitori nigeriani, è poi cresciuto a Londra con il resto della famiglia.[1] È fratello di Afolabi Obafemi, anch'egli calciatore.[2][3]
Carriera
Club
Cresciuto nei settori giovanili di varie squadre londinesi, tra cui Watford e Leyton Orient[1], nel 2016 si trasferisce al Southampton. Il 21 gennaio 2018 esordisce in Premier League, nella partita pareggiata contro il Tottenham[4], diventando così il secondo giocatore più giovane della storia dei Saints ad esordire nella massima serie, dopo Luke Shaw.[5]
Nazionale
Ha debuttato con la nazionale irlandese il 19 novembre 2018, nella partita di Nations League pareggiata per 0-0 contro la Danimarca, sostituendo all'80° minuto Callum O'Dowda. La sua è stata la prima presenza collezionata con i Boys in Green per un giocatore nato negli anni 2000.[2][6][7][8]
