Il debutto di Riddle è avvenuto nel territorio di sviluppo di NXT nella puntata del 31 ottobre sconfiggendo Luke Menzies. Il 17 novembre, a NXT TakeOver: WarGames II, Riddle ha sconfitto Kassius Ohno nel tempo record di 7 secondi. Nella puntata di NXT del 28 novembre Riddle ha sconfitto Punishment Martinez. Il 26 gennaio 2019, a NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, Riddle ha sconfitto nuovamente Kassius Ohno.
