Sascha Konietzko (born June 21, 1961 in Hamburg, Germany), also known as Sascha K and Käpt'n K, is the frontman of industrial band KMFDM, having founded the group in 1984. He is the only member of KMFDM to appear on every album. He has worked on many other projects, such as Excessive Force (with Buzz McCoy of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult), Schwein (with Raymond Watts, Atsushi Sakurai, and Hisashi Imai), and in 2000 was joined by Lucia Cifarelli and Tim Skold to form MDFMK. Konietzko married Cifarelli in 2005.

He relocated to the United States in 1990, dividing his time between Chicago, NYC and Seattle.
In 2006, Konietzko and Cifarelli teamed up with Dean Garcia for the project KGC. Their first album Dirty Bomb was released on December 14, 2006.
Konietzko jokingly purports himself to be the father of industrial rock.
