Academics

Westminster Preparatory School, the secondary school for Westminster Schools of Augusta, is a Christian college-preparatory school. We offer students an excellent educational program grounded in a Biblically-based Christian world view and distinguished by high academic challenge, character development, and extracurricular opportunities. Founded in 1972 as a coeducational, independent day school, Westminster serves 512 students in grades PreK – 12. The campus is comprised of 30 acres in a residential section of Augusta, Georgia, which is Georgia’s second largest city.

Westminster Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Southern Association of Independent Schools. Professional memberships include the National Association of Independent Schools, Christian Schools International, Educational Records Bureau, Georgia Independent School Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, The College Board, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Westminster Schools are nondiscriminatory in its admissions and programs.
