Jason Aldean

Carriera
Nato in Georgia, si trasferisce ventunenne col padre a Nashville (Tennessee). Qui inizia a registrare nel 2005 per la Broken Bow Records, una etichetta discografica indipendente per la quale pubblica cinque album. Il primo singolo Hicktown lo pubblica proprio nel 2005 e fa parte del suo primo album, l'omonimo Jason Aldean. La prima hit da classifica è Why.
Insieme a Michael Knox registra il suo secondo disco, Relentless, che esce nel maggio 2007. I singoli Johnny Cash e Laughed Until We Cried diventano pezzi da classifica che scalano la Top Country Songs. Questo disco, come tra l'altro il precedente, viene certificato disco di platino dalla RIAA.
Nel dicembre 2008 pubblica il singolo She's Country, che anticipa l'album Wide Open, pubblicato nell'aprile 2009. Il successivo singolo (Big Green Tractor) è coscritto con David Lee Murphy e Jim Collins. Si esibisce dal vivo con Bryan Adams nel giugno 2009. Pubblica il DVD Wide Open Live & More nell'agosto dello stesso anno.
Il singolo My Kinda Party viene diffuso nell'agosto 2010 e anticipa l'album omonimo uscito nel novembre seguente. Al disco collabora Kelly Clarkson (duetto in Don't You Wanna Stay), che si esibisce anche dal vivo con Jason Aldean in alcune date. All'inizio del 2011 viene ripreso il brano Dirt Road Anthem insieme a Colt Ford e Brantley Gilbert. Successivamente l'artista si esibisce in numerosi festival e vince due CMA Awards. Sempre nel 2010 il suo disco My Kinda Party viene certificato triplo disco di platino dalla RIAA. Nel 2012 riceve tre nomination ai Grammy Awards nelle categorie "Best Country Solo Performance", "Best Country Duo/Group Performance" e "Best Country Album".
Nel luglio 2012 pubblica il brano Take a Little Ride, mentre nell'ottobre seguente è la volta del suo quinto album in studio, Night Train. Al secondo singolo estratto (The Only Way I Know) partecipano Luke Bryan ed Eric Church, mentre il terzo (1994) è un tributo a Joe Diffie.
Nell'ottobre 2014 esce il successivo album Old Boots, New Dirt.
Il 1º ottobre 2017 rimase coinvolto in un attentato perpetrato a Las Vegas mentre si stava esibendo ad un concerto di musica country nel cuore della città. Nell'attentato persero la vita 58 persone[1].
