Stray Kids
Gli Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈?, Seuteurei KijeuLR), sono un gruppo musicale sudcoreano formatosi a Seul nel 2017. Il gruppo è composto da nove membri: Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin e IN. Inoltre Bang Chan, Changbin e Han prima del debutto formavano la sub-unit rap 3RACHA. Il gruppo ha pubblicato l'EP pre-debutto Mixtape nel gennaio 2018 e ha debuttato ufficialmente il 25 marzo con I Am Not[1][2]. Storia
2017-2018: Formazione e debutto
Nel mese di agosto 2017, la JYP Entertainment annunciò ufficialmente un nuovo reality show per formare un nuovo giorno maschile. Più dettagli e foto promozionali vennero pubblicati rilasciati, incluso il titolo dello spettacolo: Stray Kids[3][4][5]. Prima della sua anteprima, il 17 ottobre, la JYP pubblicò il primo video musicale degli Stray Kids per una canzone intitolata Hellevator, che venne successivamente pubblicata come singolo digitale. Due membri, Lee Know e Lee Felix, vennero eliminati dal gruppo, ma tutti e nove i membri furono nella formazione finale[6][7][8].
Insieme al lancio del sito ufficiale degli Stray Kids, la JYP annunciò l'uscita dell'EP pre-debutto del gruppo intitolato Mixtape. L'EP contiene sette tracce co-scritte e co-composte dai membri, tra cui Hellevator e altre canzoni che eseguirono durante lo spettacolo[9]. L'EP, insieme al video di performance del suo secondo brano intitolato Beware, venne pubblicato l'8 gennaio 2018, mentre il video di "Spread My Wings" venne caricato online una settimana dopo[1][10][11]. Debuttò al numero 2 della Gaon's Album Chart e della Billboard's World Albums chart[12][13].
Il 5 marzo, la JYP annunciò il primo showcase del gruppo: Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 01: I Am Not), che si tenne il 25 marzo alla Jangchung Arena[14][15]. Debuttarono ufficialmente il giorno successivo con l'uscita del loro EP intitolato I Am Not, insieme al video musicale della traccia principale District 9, poi venne pubblicato il video musicale di Grow Up e il video performance di Mirror rispettivamente il 31 marzo e il 23 aprile[16][17][18][19]. I Am Not debuttò al numero quattro della Gaon's Album Chart e vendette oltre 54.000 copie fisiche a marzo[20][21].
Il 14 aprile Stray Kids si esibirono al KCON Japan 2018[22][23].
Il 12 luglio, la JYP annunciò il secondo showcase del gruppo: Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 02: I Am Who), che tenne il 5 agosto al Grand Peace Palace della Kyung Hee University. Il loro secondo EP chiamato I Am Who, insieme alla traccia principale My Pace, venne pubblicato il giorno successivo[24][25][26].
Il 4 ottobre, la JYP annunciò il terzo showcase del gruppo: Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 03: I Am You), che si tenne il 21 ottobre alla Olympic Hall, e seguita dall'uscita del loro nuovo album EP I Am You il giorno successivo[27].
2019: Clé 1: Miroh
Il 5 marzo 2019, la JYP annunciò il ritorno del gruppo al 25 marzo 2019[28], in commemorazione del loro primo anniversario. Il gruppo vinse il primo premo musicale il 4 aprile al programma M Countdown[29].
