Requesting articles for several Latin pop songs of 1998
{{resolved}} I am requesting articles for several Latin pop songs that were hits in 1998. I will group songs from the same album together:
- "Esperanza" / "Nunca Te Olvidaré by Enrique Iglesias
- The `I's have it /Iglesias, Isaak produce standouts: (2 STAR Edition)
- What't in the changer?a
- RECORDINGS
- "Dejaría Todo" by Chayanne
- RECORDINGS
- Latin artists are enjoying new success
- STEAMED UP Chayanne's smooth moves send audience into a frenzy
- Do you really know Chayanne? The Puerto Rican pop star shows his tender side with seductive ballads and tackles saucy songs with reckless abandon
- "Corazon Partido" / "Amiga Mia" by Alejandro Sanz
Sanz planes his reign from Spain- Manuel's time has come 'Tiempo' finds Latin singer charting a different course (Cover version)
- Sanz, Nek new faces on scene
- "Clavado en un Bar"
Thankfully, Mana gives us a tad less to chew on- WE'VE GOT THE BEAT The No. 1 `rock en Espanol' band, Mana, is aiming for a fan base in the United States.
- Mana infects audience with a spirited concert
Thanks, Erick (talk) 03:57, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Magiciandude: Sent the ones I could easily find, which were all of the "Esperanza" ones, #3 for "Dejaría Todo", both of the "Corazon Partido" ones, and #1 and #2 for "Clavado en un Bar". DanCherek (talk) 22:10, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- @DanCherek: Thanks! The article for "Clavado en un Bar" with Mario Tarradell's review is missing a line from the ProQuest article: "the CD's lead single, is a propulsive, pop-punk track guaranteed to induce..." Erick (talk) 00:18, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't understand the question, or maybe I'm looking at a different ProQuest version than you? When I click on [1] I see an abstract that starts with "Suenos Liquidos recalls the pop-friendly sound..." and ends with "...acts languishing in obscurity." but doesn't contain the sentence you mentioned. DanCherek (talk) 02:28, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- @DanCherek: Could be the latter (a different version of the article). I found that sentence on when I was searching on ProQuest. See if that works. Erick (talk) 14:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see it now. My guess is it's some kind of subheadline, but I don't know how to get the rest of it. DanCherek (talk) 14:43, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

@DanCherek: That's fine, I'll strike it down anyways. Let me get back to you to check on the other articles. Erick (talk) 00:39, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Magiciandude: I sent you some of these, although I fear all I did was partially or entirely duplicative of DanCherek's work. Can you strike out the requests you no longer need, to clarify what part of your request is still open? John M Baker (talk) 01:08, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Erick: Sent 7: all 3 for "Esperanza", #1 for "Dejaría Todo", remaining 2 for "Corazon Partido", and #2 for "Clavado en un Bar". --Worldbruce (talk) 17:14, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
