John Green

John Green (b. 1977) is a young adult novelist. His first novel, Looking for Alaska (2005), won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award presented by the American Library Association [ALA].

His second novel is An Abundance of Katherines (2006), and the ALA awarded it too, this time as a 2007 Michael L. Printz Award Honor Book.

Green attended Indian Springs School, a boarding and day school outside of Birmingham, Alabama.

Green currently resides in New York City.
