The Herald (Rhodesia/Zimbabwe)

For Bill Godwin and WP:RDH

I am looking for a report of Bill Godwin's words to the last parade of the Rhodesian Guard Force.

The Herald is presumably The Rhodesia Herald

Looking into this. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 14:16, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So the citation will be like
, but I don't have access to it directly, and I can't request an article via my interlibrary loan access without at least a title (and ideally some combination of page and volume/issue numbers). Sorry. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 14:41, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mdaniels5757: Thanks for trying - unfortunately the work which cites The Herald does not give a title, byline, page number, or issue number, only the date. DuncanHill (talk) 14:49, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LA Times

{{Resolved}} Why does no one have the LA Times? Including the LA Public Library, which just seems very strange to me. It must be unbelievably expensive. This is a possibly a 2007 article. Hard to tell because they freeze the screen so fast.

For Crespeou, Omelette, Tourne omelette

As always, thanks to all here, valereee (talk) 19:58, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Valereee: Well, at least Newspapers.com has it. Here you are: part 1 and part 2. (Looks tasty.) Best regards, Extraordinary Writ (talk) 20:12, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Valereee In regards to Los Angeles Public Library, they should have 1881-present with ProQuest. Apart from Newspapers.com above, The Wikipedia Library has December 4 1996-present with Proquest as well. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 20:17, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, sorry, all, I did go to Newspapers.com first and didn't find it. Huh. Well, thanks! :D valereee (talk) 20:20, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
valereee, I also emailed it, although it appears my efforts were duplicative. I also noticed that the full article came up when I clicked on your link. Probably the LA Times will allow one or two articles a month before requiring a subscription. John M Baker (talk) 20:28, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! valereee (talk) 20:42, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
