History
Grant Community High School graduated its first class of seniors in 1939.
Athletics
Grant competes in the North Suburban Prairie Conference and Illinois High School Association. Its mascot is the Bulldogs.
In 2006 Grant's wrestling team took 3rd in state.
Also the band NIGHTFALL originated 3 of it's 4 members from Grant. They will be touring the Lake County Areo soon.
