The Carr-Benkler wager is between Yochai Benkler and Nicholas Carr over who will provide Internet content.[1] Benkler believes the majority of content will be provided by volunteers in what Benkler calls "peer production", as in Wikipedia and Digg, Flickr and YouTube.[2] Carr argues that content will be provided by paid workers, as in most news outlets and Google Books.
