L'azienda realizzò Homework Helper per la Prodigy[5][6], l'aggregatore Encyclopedia.com[7], Electric Library[8] e CompanySleuth.[9][10][11][12][13][14]
Il quotidiano The Philadelphia Inquirer la descrisse come una delle più importanti società informatiche esistenti nell'area di Filadelfia.[4][15][16][17][18][19]
Nel 1996 si quotò come public company al NASDAQ di New York.[20][21], finchè l'incorporazione in Tucows con la tecnica del reverse takeover non ne determinò il delisting nel 2001.[22][23] Il 26 agosto 2002, Tucows cedette eLibrary e Encyclopedia.com a HighBeam Research.
