Synopsis
Template:Spoiler SG-1 along with General Landry are trapped in a time dialation field on the USS Odyssey after the explosion of an Ori ship neutralizes the ships systems and they have no other choice but to live out their lives at an accelerated pace with no way to contact Earth.
Plot
With the ever-increasing threat of an Ori attack on Earth and no clear way to defeat the invading forces except for the Antarctic defences, Stargate Command decides to combat the Ori fleet using the Odyssey and recently perfected shield modulator chips on Earth based weapons, which allow the weapons the ability of breaching the Ori vessels' shields. SG-1 along with General Landry take the Odyssey with ZPM reinforced shields without Col. Davidson or his crew to attack the Ori fleet head-on in an attempt to destroy or cripple as many Ori ships as possible.
After successfully defeating the first Ori vessel they engage, the Odyssey's shields are depleted when the EMP shock wave from the explosion of the ship manages to neutralize their systems. Their cituation becomes even more grim when another Ori ship arrives, it easily blasts a hole in the defenceless Odyssey's hull.
The bridge is ripped apart and merely seconds before the ship explodes killing the remainder of SG-1 Teal'c activates a Time Dilation device, reversing the process and preventing the ship from being destroyed; however, SG-1 is now trapped inside the field with the intact, but neutralized ship and they are forced to live out the remainder of their lives on the Odyssey with no way to contact Earth. With all remaining Earth ships in the Pegasus Galaxy, by the time the SGC manages to locate the Odyssey, SG-1 will be long dead.
