Doctor's Advocate is a 2006 sophomore album by West Coast rapper The Game released November 14. The album debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 selling 358,988, which is The Game's second number 1 album. Doctor's Advocate is a reference to rap pioneer Dr. Dre who essentially "found" The Game, according to The Game himself. The album has many of the same producers that his first album did, including Kanye West and Just Blaze. In contrast to his debut, this album features no production from Aftermath C.E.O. and famed hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, although long-time Dr. Dre collaborator Scott Storch produced two songs on the album. The album received a near perfect 4.5 mic rating from The Source. It has been said that there might be a mini-movie for the song Doctor's Advocate for a possible re-release of the album.

Critical reception
Overall the album was received well by critics, with the New York Times even naming it the best hip-hop album of 2006.[1] It was also noted favorably by critics that The Game had improved on his rapping-abilities and also managed to create a solid album despite the many feuds and problems (both business and personal) he had undergone between the release of both his albums. Many critics also praised The Game for constructing a well executed album, despite the fact that 50 Cent and Dr. Dre did not contribute to this album as they did in his previous album.[2]
