When she came home from her fathers over the weekend, after visiting with her grandma and grandpa; It is very sad to hear my little girl beg me not to tell anyone what she is about to tell me because "Meme will not like me anymore". I promised her that I wouldn't and I always keep my promise to my daughter but this one I can not. She told me that her grandmother told her "Your mother has a sickness in her brain, and that everyday she will forget more and more and she will even forget you." and "Do not take your precious things to your mothers apartment beacause robbers and the bad guys break into the apartments and they could take your precious things". Now my little girl want me to buy some more locks on for the door in our apartment to keep the robbers and the bad guys out.
Caroline is very afaird of her grandmother. She has been since this summers incidinent. Before that things were not a problem for Caroline. Over the summer Shirley and John asked me if Caroline could go to Cape Cod for six weeks in a RV camper with her grandmother to experience the Cape and all that her father experienced as a boy, and also to help my mother in law out because she was having injections over the summer and she knew Caroline would bring her joy and a huge help. I thought about the situation and said yes.
