FWIW: This has become more of a summary of the XM9 pistol trials than the actual Joint Service Small Arms Program. JSSAP's mission and history encompasses more than just the XM9. D.E. Watters (talk) 12:48, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone else find the overall prose and grammar of this article to be lacking or downright bad? While informative, it feels as though it were written in a rush or was written for someone of a very elementary reading level. I'd make changes but I am not an expert in this topic/event, and I'd loathe to make changes that adjust meaning or intent due to my own misunderstandings/lack of knowledge.
