"My Love" is a pop–R&B song written by Ciara Harris, Candice Nelson, Brian Kennedy, Antwoine Collins and Balewa Muhammad. It will be released as the third single from Ciara's second album Ciara: The Evolution. The release was confirmed on the radio station Hot 97 in Atlanta.[1]

My Love pertains to a woman's deep and affectionate feelings towards her neglecting boyfriend, and how he's going to miss out on her love. There is a definite possibility that this song is fowarded to hip-hop artist, Bow Wow, her former boyfriend.The song states phareses like "See boy you had a keeper, but you didnt know how to treat her." People have also been speculating that Bow Wow and Ciara might have actually been trying to make a long term relationship happen because they both have lines in songs that point in that direction. In Bow Wow's new single Outta My System he states the he and Ciara had their whole lives planed out together. While in Ciara's song My Love she states "You should've been happy to have me, said you wanted to have some kids and build a family."
The song also has also been compared to Brandy because of her similar vocal stylings. Thus bringing forth the rumor that Brandy will appear in a remix for the song. There is now word from Ciara or Brandy if that is in fact true yet.
