Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador

Rocky Harbour is a village located north of Woody Point. The Post Office was established there in 1894. It became a Local Government Community in April 1966. It had a population of 687 in 1956. Today the population is 1058. [1]

It is a key tourist town located in centralGros Morne National Park, offering hiking, fishing, and birdwatching. It is home to World Heritage Site having the Western Brook Pond Fjord which is located on the Grand Trail Traverse.
