This template should be used on articles which need cleanup to bring the quality of grammar, spelling, usage, and style up to a standard level of English. This may be especially useful in cases where content has been added by an editor who lacks native fluency in English but otherwise is improving the article. In some cases, basic knowledge of a foreign language might help; a parameter is available for this case.

Usage

To provide an additional reason for the needed cleanup, use:

{{Cleanup English|article or section|date=August 2025}}

To mark a section for English cleanup without an additional reason, use:

{{Cleanup English|section|date=August 2025}}

To mark an article for English cleanup where basic knowledge of a foreign language might help, use:

{{Cleanup English|lang=LanguageName|date=August 2025}}

This template adds tagged articles to Wikipedia articles needing English cleanup.
