Kocoum is a character from the 1995 Disney movie, Pocahontas. He was the noble warrior that wanted to marry Pocahontas. He claimed in a deleted song, "Dancing to the Wedding Drum", that he would protect her from any danger and keep her well-protected, but he, in the final version of the film, never told her that in person. He never, if hardly, smiled (one of the reasons why most Native American people disliked the film), and he was too serious-minded for Pocahontas, whose name means "little wanton" or "playful frolicsome girl". During his confrontation with John Smith, he pushed Pocahontas out of his way, making him fall to the ground with little to no injuries to her body. He was killed by Thomas, quite by accident.

Kocoum is voiced by James Fall.
