Shortly after leaving Epic, Ken signed to Curb Records. Although he spent six years on that label, only one single was released; as a result, he soon became frustrated with the label and asked out of his record deal with them in 2003.[3][4] He moved to the independent Home Records soon afterwards, releasing the album Sweet in 2004.
