Summer Bishil (July 17, 1988) is an American television and movie actress. She was born in Pasadena, California.

Summer and her family moved to Saudi Arabia when she was three, when her father was offered a job there in banking, two years later, her International Banker father was transferred to the small Island Kingdom of Bahrain, where Summer and her brother attended the only Department of Defense school in the Middle East. In 2003, Summer along with her brother and their Mom returned to Southern California. Summer's father is a Saudi Arabian citizen of Indian decent while her mother is an American.

In love with the idea of becoming an actress since the age of three, Summer was 14 before she took her first acting class. Nine months later, she was signed by a manager and agency. Bishil was choosen to play the lead, in Alan Ball's newly titled "Nothing is Private" film adaptation of the novel Towelhead. She recently completed filming Wayne Kramer's new project, "Crossing Over." Starring Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Ray Liotta and Ashely Judd. She is currently listed on several prediction sites for best actress nom in 2008.
