Talk:Windows Media Encoder

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Nicholas2020 (talk | contribs) at 11:24, 25 July 2007 (Can Encoder version 9, create files viewable on player version 8?). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Q1. Is there an encoder for Windows Media 10?

Q2. I'm having trouble figuring out everything here - I have produced a wme file....but it won't open in Windows Media Player. There has to be a simple solution somewhere!!

I answered my own question - when the preview opens up, locate the File > Save as in the upper left corner. You can save the screencast as a wmv file.
