PCManFM is an open source file manager, which is meant to be a replacement for Nautilus ,Konqueror and Thunar.

It's goal, is to be a useful file manager, and obeys Freedesktop.org - the standard.
It is developed by Hong Jen Yee (PCMan).
Among its functions there are:
- Thumbnails for pictures
- Drag & Drop
- Desktop - Icons
- Tabs
- Bookmarks
- Multilingualness
- Inotify - support (experimental)
Its Look and Feel can be modified to be like Windows Explorer. Therefore it is useful for people transiting from Microsoft Windows to GNU/Linux.
