A bit about me: I am an American by birth and a database administrator/programmer/technical writer by trade. I have a beautiful fiancee and a lovely and colorful three year old daughter. I spend my spare time working on my second novel and a variety of essays.
I consider myself to be somewhat an expert in the field of "mis-anthropology", (which is what I call the study of sub-culture) and have made a number of contributions in those areas. I'm currently expanding my contributions to other areas of interest including sports, arts, entertainment, and literature.
I've escalated my involvement and contributions within the community in the past month or so (August 2003) since determining that wikpedia is a viable and worthwhile project. I hope to get involved on much higher levels of the project going forward, time will tell. (I fear I am becoming a wikipediholic, spending around 10-12 hours a week working on odds and ends).
Among the pages I have initiated:
Thomas Hearns, Hubert Selby, Albert Fish, Veronica Hart, Tera Patrick, The Green River Killer, Savannah, Sid Abel, Ken Dryden, Nina Hartley, Brianna Banks, Hyapatia Lee, Jill Kelly, Zoot Sims, Merchant Marine, Lee Trevino, Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker, Kwame Kilpatrick, Dennis Archer, and the 12th Street Riot.
I have contributed heavily to:
John Holmes, Traci Lords, Wonderland Murders, and the National Hockey League.
