General Information

KSDK is the NBC television affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri.

KSDK is owned and operated by Gannett.

KSDK operates on channel 5.

KSDK's transmitter is located in Shrewsbury, Missouri.

The station broadcasts in stereo and broadcasts a Secondary Audio Program (SAP) channel that is used mainly for Descriptive Video Service (DVS)..

KSDK-DT (KSDK's digital channel) operates on channel 35.

History

KSD-TV first went on the air on February 8, 1947. The call letters were later changed to KSDK in 1983.
