One day, recently, I thought to myself. Why do I waste my time here, allowing my life to slip silently and steadily away? Hopelessness overtook me, as I thought I would be forever addicted, never to leave my computer. My hope for this encyclopedia is that it would continue to be used as a reliable reference for those who need it.
But I will not continue to assist in buliding it.
I have chosen to leave. No, I am not just trying to fool you into thinking that I am gone so I can return with ill intent. And no, this is not a sudden decision. This is something I've been planning for a while now. Still, the addictive nature of Wikipedia is compelling. If you happen to see another account of mine, could you block it? The answer is of curse yes, but I truly need to leave this site, hopefully for good, so that I can no longer be obsessed with this place. I will continue to use this site as a point of reference, but no longer will I truly be an active contributor, sockpuppeteer, or attacker.
