Brädspel is a Swedish variant of backgammon. It is also called Swedish Tables in English.
The main difference compared to other backgammon variants is the method of winning. You can win by bearing off but their are also several other ways to win such as to arrange all your checkers in certain predeetermined patterns or by hitting so many checkers that your opponent can not bring them in again.
Brädspel is played without the doubling cube.
