César Delgado

César "Chelito" Delgado (born August 18, 1981 in Argentina) is an Argentine football striker, who currently plays for Cruz Azul of the Primera División de México.

Before joining Cruz Azul, Delgado played for Rosario Central of Argentina.

Delgado joined Cruz Azul for the 2003 Apertura, where he finished with 16 appearances and eight goals. Delgado made 21 appearances in the subsequent Clausura, again notching eight goals. In the 2004 Apertura, Delgado scored another six goals in 15 games.

Delgado is currently a fixture on the Argentina national football team, and has been an important part of 2006 World Cup Qualifying. "El Chelito" also played for the team in the Copa América 2004, scoring one goal, and was part of the gold medal winning Argentinian team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
