Yeah, thanks for the note on callsigns. I've been thinking that things should shift in the direction of being as close to the FCC database as possible. Ultimately, things would probably turn out to reflect the database closely if Wikipedia gets to have a fairly extensive listing just by virtue of the fact that duplicate "-FM", "-TV", etc. stations would get separated (from what I can tell of the FCC DB, stations usually only have the suffix if there's another station of the same call on another band, but it's not always true..) —User:Mulad (talk) 03:34, Feb 19, 2005 (UTC)
I have cleared the trivia section from NA callsigns article. Vaoverland 09:48, Mar 11, 2005 (UTC)
FYI on callsigns, here is Radiojon's rule on callsigns for Wikipedia articles:
- WZZZ-AM, WZZZ-FM, or WZZZ-TV means a station for which the FCC assigns the suffix to the station.
- WZZZ (AM), WZZZ (FM), or WZZZ (TV) means a station for which FCC doesn't officially assign the suffix.
- WZZZ without a suffix can be a re-direct if only one station for which that is the root callsign exists, or a dis-ambiguation page if more than one exists. Georgia guy 01:02, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Radiojon is the one who you should talk about this to, he can explain easily. Georgia guy 01:10, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
cleanup tag on Dairy farming
Sure, be happy to. Look here: [1] -- you will see that a user named User:Klonimus put the tag there. My edit -- a reversion of vandalism -- preceded his. Hope this helps. Antandrus 04:02, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- No problem. :-) Antandrus 04:06, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
